Recently, in the list of Tai'an Key Laboratories (first batch) planned to be built in 2022 announced by Tai'an City, Tai'an Taishan High Voltage Switch Co., Ltd., a key enterprise in the power transmission and transformation and wire and cable industry chain in Taishan District, was listed for its "Tai'an Intelligent High Voltage Electrical Appliance Key Laboratory" project.

"We will build a fully intelligent GIS laboratory that can test 2,000 sets of fully intelligent GIS annually, which can complete the inspection of fully intelligent GIS." Wu Keyan, general manager of Tai'an Taishan High Voltage Switch Co., Ltd., told reporters that during the construction period, the laboratory will cultivate and introduce a group of top talents with high education and high level to better play the scientific research and development functions of the key laboratory. After completion, it will definitely help the company to gather a team of talents, pool technical resources, stimulate the company's innovative vitality, and vigorously improve the level of research and development. At the same time, it will promote the high-quality development of the power transmission and transformation and wire and cable industry chain in Taishan District.

Since the beginning of this year, Taishan District has focused on the rapid advancement of new industrialization, accelerated the deployment of innovation chains in the power transmission and transformation and wire and cable industry chain, and arranged the industrial chain around the innovation chain. It has continued to guide enterprises to carry out scientific and technological research in response to the breakpoints, pain points, difficulties and bottlenecks in the industrial chain.

We will thoroughly implement the project of echelon cultivation of technology-based enterprises. In combination with the district's "echelon cultivation of industrial enterprises" plan, we will fully support the "small to medium-sized enterprises", promote "medium-sized enterprises to shareholding enterprises", serve "shareholding enterprises to go public", and promote the evaluation of national technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises and the application for national high-tech enterprises. So far, 8 enterprises in the industrial chain have been identified as national technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, and 4 enterprises are preparing for high-tech enterprise application and review.

We will implement the construction of high-level scientific and technological innovation platforms in depth. We will organize enterprises to apply for key laboratories, technology innovation centers and other innovation platforms, and recommend Taishan High Voltage Switches to apply for the city's key laboratory and Taikai Power Electronics to apply for the city's technology innovation center. At the same time, we will take projects as a starting point to enhance the innovation capabilities of enterprises. Currently, we have organized 6 projects in the industrial chain to complete the filing of Tai'an's 2022 science and technology innovation development projects.

We have thoroughly implemented the introduction and cultivation of scientific and technological talents and the transformation and promotion of scientific and technological achievements. We have tailored reasonable talent training plans for each enterprise in the industrial chain by training project leaders and talent teams, promoting industry-university-research exchanges and cooperation, and promoting the construction of a team of special scientific and technological envoys. Currently, we have organized and recommended two scientific and technological achievements in the industrial chain to apply for the Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award.
